Founded in Toronto in 2015
by Peter Gosling and Andrew LaGrave, Glassbox Barbershop was built as a modern standard in grooming, pairing precision barbering with consistent service across locations in Toronto and Hamilton. Peter is an industry leader in hair and entrepreneurship, known for combining technical excellence with a strong operational focus. Andrew brings an advertising and marketing background, helping shape the brand through clear positioning and customer experience. Friends since high school, the two have grown Glassbox beyond the barbershop. In March 2025, they expanded into a licensed hair styling school operating under Glassbox Education, extending the brand’s commitment to training and professional development for Canada and beyond.

OUR STYLISTS
Our Barbers are hand selected for technical skill, professionalism, and service standards. These are people who want to push the craft and form careers in the industry. Some are local to the communities we serve, and others relocate to work at Glassbox. We have had many international imports reach out from overseas for an opportunity to work with us.
Every hire is reviewed and approved by lead stylist Peter Gosling to ensure consistency across the brand.
